Attorney Pernell W. McGuire

Mr. McGuire is an Phoenix Arizona attorney providing bankruptcy and debtor/creditor services to people and businesses throughout Arizona. Mr. McGuire is certified by the Arizona State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in Bankruptcy.

Mr. McGuire has over 17 years of bankruptcy experience and has personally handled more than 1,000 bankruptcy cases. In addition to operating his law offices, Mr. McGuire is a lecturer of business law at Northern Arizona University. Mr. McGuire is a former member of the bankruptcy advisory commission of the Arizona State Bar Association.

Attorney Douglas C. Gardner

Douglas C. Gardner is a Native of Northeastern Arizona, and a fourth generation Arizonan.

Prior to law school, Douglas worked for several years for Bechtel Corporation, one of America’s largest privately held corporations, as an accounting manager. Douglas attended law school and earned his M.B.A. simultaneously. During Law School, Douglas clerked for the Honorable Randy Haines of the United States Bankruptcy Court in the District of Arizona. Douglas also participated in the Arizona State Law Journal as a Staff Writer and then an Articles Editor. At the same time, Douglas also participated in Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology as an Associate Editor and then as a Senior Editor, where he was recognized as the “Outstanding Associate Editor” and published his case note.

Douglas and his wife, Karleen, are the parents of three very active boys.

Attorney James M. McGuire

Mr. McGuire was raised in Flagstaff, Arizona and now makes his home with his wife and two children in Mesa. During law school, Mr. McGuire was a writer for the Arizona Law Review and graduated with honors.

Mr. McGuire serves on the board of the Mesa Westwood Little League, volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and encourages organ donation. Mr. McGuire received a life saving living donor liver transplant from his brother Pernell in 2006 and both are doing well.

Attorney Jared E. Holland

Jared E. Holland was born and raised in the Southeastern Arizona town of Willcox. Prior to law school, Jared served a proselyting mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Taichung, Taiwan and speaks Mandarin Chinese.

During Law School, Jared volunteered as a mediator for the small claims court and was an executive member of Law Students for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Prior to sitting for the Arizona bar, Jared clerked for several attorneys throughout the Phoenix metro area. After passing the Arizona bar Jared moved to Flagstaff, Arizona. He practiced with the law firm of Aspey, Watkins & Diesel, prior to joining McGuire Gardner, in September of 2008.

Jared and his wife, Katherine, are the parents of three beautiful girls.

Attorney J. Tyler Martin

Tyler focuses his practice areas in Arizona bankruptcy, debtor creditor rights, foreclosure services, loan modifications, and commercial litigation. Tyler was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2008. He is also licensed to practice in U.S. Federal Court.

Tyler earned his bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Utah in 2005. He then attended the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University and received his J.D. in 2008. While attending law school, Tyler served on the editorial board for the Journal of Education and Law.

Prior to joining the firm Tyler worked with Law firm Ascione, Heideman & McKay in Provo, Utah in family law and civil litigation matters. Tyler also worked as a law clerk for the firm Romero Park & Wiggins P.S. in Bellevue Washington.
